iTalk Recorder App Reviews

Bought a long time ago but I guess there mustve been an update (or maybe the phone updated and there are glitches). 1. Crashes all the time. 2. Sometimes it will act as if its recording and then when I hit stop it says there are zero seconds I have recorded (yea, nice...) I have actually fallen for it and tried recording the same msg a couple times. Geting really tired of it and so I am currently hunting for a replacement app. Griffin, you also screwed up my iphone car plug-in/app as well (pretty sure that iTrip is yours, right)? Get it together!

Cant even open the app after last upgrade! Cant access previous recordings!

It doesnt record very well even if you press best quality recording

I like this app is Soo good

The new update stops recording as soon as the phone turns off or if the app closes.

This was great until the latest update. Now it stops recording when my phone goes to screensaver!! :/

Since the update, Nov 19 all my recording have gone really quite along with any new ones I make ,making this app unusable. Please rectify so I can continue to use my recordings and this app.

This app was the best recorder I had found so I confidently upgraded, but now I cant hear my recordings. Why put out an upgrade if it doesnt work ?

It would be better if you can assign a picture to a recording.

I paid for upgrade to premium to record in background then 12 days later developer allows recording in the background again for lite users. Just what good is the premium version now and why do they charge almost $2 for it? Seriously thinking of nuking this app

Very disappointed to say the least! Dont update version 4.6.6 - unless you want to pay a price for your "Lite" Version! I was behind updating my Italk version by 2 releases, and when I updated ALL my Apps at once, I couldnt read any details of the changes to come as the updates were automatic. I have had the lite version of this app for a long time with NO issues but soon discovered that they programmed the new version 4.6.6 to lock you out until you upgrade to their Premium service. The charge is $1.99 - not much but unfair business practice! I believe there is a term for this type of thing, and I dont know why Apple doesnt have more rules in place to regulate it! As of now, Im locked out-unable to access the recordings I often refer to!

I like this app a lot because of its simplicity and the fact that there is no cost. However, I would like it even more if the app had a replay button so that I can replay my recordings over withou having to press anything. Thanks for an awesome app!!

It worked like a charm. Simple and good quality. Easy to email too.

This is my first app and Ive been using Apple products for the past few years. This is definitely worth your time downloading. I used it mostly on my iPod for dance class and when Im too lazy to write down notes. I believe its MUCH better than the audio memo that Apple provides you. I even upgraded it today to more benefits from it.

Just downloaded this app this morning and it work great! I attended a meeting and recorded my notes from varying distances - 3 feet to 12 feet - and the recording came out good at all distances - better at closer ranges of 3 to 6 feet. I was able to transcribe the interviews I did and eliminate background noise when I transferred it to my computer. Thanks for this one!!

Using iPad Air with system 8. Works once then nothing happens. Press the record button and it only jiggles. Have reinstalled 3 times.
