Much better sound than the regular Voice Memos app that comes with the iPhone! Thanks for the free version!

The app seems to be good for a regular recorder, but when you try to record a conversation on the phone - no dice. Since that is what I need it for I only gave it 1 star.

Ive been using this app for years to record concerts and other music performances. Between it and an iPhone you can get pretty decent recordings. I also use it with iRig to record guitar and keyboards. The reason I initially used this app was that it recorded while the phone was locked. You can just put it in a pocket and enjoy a concert or other live performance. Highly recommend but Ive also not looked for other apps in quite a while. At least 2 years. However I do use other apps like FourTrack and BeatMaker but this is my quick go to for recording live performances.

Do not upgrade to premium if you have hopes of having your files available to email through the app. The premium and non premium apps seem to be different with no interface. You cannot access your recording after having upgraded to premium,which basically defeats the very purpose of upgrade.

Used this app since iPhone 3G came out and it is definitely s very good app with high quality. Get this app if you need a voice recorder or any record from microphone.

iTalk Recorder is an excellent app for recording high-quality audio. Using it since the initial version, its been improving with new releases. The user interface is clean, the audio is as good as it gets on iOS devices.
